New toy and slightly bodged heart

I have a new sewing machine! A colleague kindly sold me hers and it's fabulous! My first attempt at stitching is the lavender filled heart hanging from it, it's bodged beyond belief but I know how to make the next one better by a long shot!

Tomorrow is the long awaited crochet course, so excited.
